Re-focusing on Homeschooling

Since today I was a little upset about work (Note to self: I should really just suck it up and learn not to care at all!), I decided to do something more productive and beneficial to my kids, rather than dwelling on the negatives vibes. So, here I am, planning homeschool activities for both kids, but keeping my main focus on the boy since I feel that I should do more with him now that he is more curious about things and has shown more interests in storybooks.

If you have been a reader of this blog, you will know that I spent a lot of time homeschooling the girl when she was at his age. Sad to say, I am truly living up to my title as the “lazy SAHM” for the past 2 years. I practically did nothing, other than some ocassional craft projects, with both children. Some days I would rather spend my time playing mindless games on Facebook, watching mindless movie clips on youtube than spending quality time with my family. So I think it’s time for me to acknowledge my personal guilt and to make things right again. (Hmm… sound a little too serious ah? I think so…HAHA!)

Anyway, I hope, with this little post to serve as a reminder for myself, I will be discipline enough to do what I plan to do with my kids. So, if this blog is getting too quiet again, please give me a nudge! ;)
