I made a simpler and smaller lion head for the boy using just some leftover craft papers, carton box and an old baby towel. It turns out quite nicely. I’m happy that it makes the little boy really happy.
While I was busy making the craft with the boy (I tried to get him involved as much as possible), the girl entertained herself by decorating a simple Chinese drum that we made out of recycled oatmeal container.
Material used :
papers – to cover the container
yarn – to make the strap
scotch tape – to tape the yarn down
This craft is so easy, anyone can make it. Just glue some paper (color of your choice) on the container and start decorating it. After you are done with the decoration, tie the yarn on both ends of the container to make a strap. That’s all.
Now the girl is all set to perform some cultural Chinese dance with her brother! 😉
